Dry. Went back to the Alte Wache in Freiburg i. Breisgau. What a City! Had this with a Matjeshering Sandwich. Food made the difference - this is a match in heaven. Perfect with salty oily fish. I always pair Matjes herring or any pickled version with Riesling. Classic Kabinett, mandarine, faint diesel really just a touch, surprisingly some tannins - smidgen tart. Lemon 🍋. — 6 months ago
Fruity, fresh, a bit sauer, very aromatic, peach, sweet, it reminds me tk@something i cannot describe (Hannah), we would drink this wine in the summer, watching the sunset in a warm place, sparkling. Very recommended!! — 2 years ago
Like a soapy tropical little German Pils from Scheurebe. Grapefruit scented mosaic hops and dank marijuana crystals. Hints of mango and papaya floating in the periphery. A body with some girth and buttercream to yang the ying of acid you couldn't complain about not even for a second. — 2 years ago
12.5%. Black Forest Slope, Top Wine Maker, his best vines and his best hill and one of the best years in decades. A no brainer. Apricots, white peach, peach pit, almond blossoms. Just the right amount of acidity. Drink now or keep for up to 10 years. — 4 years ago
Pale goldenrod yellow;on the nose white flower field, green fig, orange pith. On the palate fairly medium bodied with fantastic orange/ lemon cream popsicle, white grape, hints of those white flowers, yellow zucchini. Oodles of layers & intensity & absolutely beguiling. Kick off to a Columbia County weekend w friends. — a year ago

Vintage 2022 | This is the basic Pinot noir of the cooperation Mayschoss Altenahr in the Ahr, the oldest in the world. Ridiculous price and só lovely, bottled raspberries and elegance. Topwine on a Monday evening after a hard days work. Paired with Cantonese beef with mango, a dish we have been making for 30 years and still makes us ultra happy… — a month ago
