Only had a few sips. I’m not a big Pinot guy but this was solid. — a month ago

Les Perrières Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2017

Really nice overall, but definitely lost quite a bit from night 1 to 2. Pretty refined but with great earth and body. Has a bit of a rounded crunchy fruit quality in a nice way. Nice pairing with chicken thighs with feta and olives but was probably a better pairing a few years ago. Still nice and always appreciate bize. — a month ago

All estate fruits aged 11 months in French barrel, 30% new. A taut, mineral-driven Chardonnay with chiseled structure and sharp acidity balanced by deft use of oak. The tension between brisk salinity and supple texture is lovely. Give it another 3-5 years in the bottle. — a month ago

No specific notes but an excellent blend of Shiraz and Grenache, reasonable octane at 13.5. Really good stuff. — 19 days ago

Aux Vergelesses Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2014

Nose of cherries, earth, pine, palate is cool and composed, maybe a bit reserved, distinctly red fruited with ample spice and stemmy grip. Feels like it needs more time but elegant — 2 months ago

Aromas of lemon zest, green apple, and coastal wildflowers lead into a palate of pear, citrus oil, and crushed stone. The concrete egg and Austrian foudre lend purity and gentle roundness, while 15% new French oak adds subtle spice and toast. Bright acidity carries a saline, mineral-driven finish with impressive length and poise. — 3 months ago
