Very tart, lip - smacking cherry juice. Would be lovely on the deck on a warm summer evening. Alas, it’s 25 and snowing, but nice nonetheless. Takes a little of the chill out of winter. — a month ago
I’ve been loving the much maligned 2011’s lately. Most of them are in their prime right now including this one which was super elegant with a great mix of rocky minerality and dark fruit. This is at peak and will drink well for another decade. — 8 days ago

Popped and poured from a half bottle; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The “Oeil de Perdrix” is made in the saignée method and pours a pale copper/pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of strawberry, raspberry, pink pepper, lemon, and chalky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A lovely expression of a Blanc de Noir Rosé from Bouzy. Disgorged April of 2023. — 19 days ago
