N: Salty dried butterscotch/caramel, Seashore, old boats, rot in the best of ways.
P: Sweet but no… upon entry, the impression is of something unctuous and sweet, for a bit of a second, then DRY. Yellow and gold flowers/melon,
heady at 16°. Great w baby artichokes and Parm and pan seared Branzino.
Varnish lacquer,

I love this one. It is a good wine to enjoy anytime. Vino jerez. — 6 years ago
From my vault of opinions, Sherries over-perform for credit due. This Amontillado is considered entry but it’s definitely not basic. It sits halfway between Fino and Ollorosso in structure and since its unfortified, it’s pleasantly light.
Spiced orange and salty caramel apple with honeyed notes on the fringe. — 7 years ago
Concentrated and intense with very good complexity, burnt caramel, brown sugar and cashew. The finish is long, smooth and luxurious. — 7 years ago
Super clean and delicious. Love the Riesling nose. — 3 years ago
A nice, unconventional Muscat - skin contact, 10% with stems - going in the orange direction.
Exoticly expressive yet without an explosion. A touch of restraint + some hay, herbs, a hint of mushroom.
On the palate this is firm, with some tannin, juicy, zingy acidity and great character. Rich yet fresh. Good precision
A lively & lovely wine. — 4 years ago
Spectacular! Toasted nuts, toffee, caramel, figs, and apricots. Gold color and a finish to die for. Intense and exceptional in every way! — 5 years ago

Very good quality with a solid expression of its provenance and a good length. Bruised apples, yeast, bread, iodine and a dry chalkiness puts this right where it belongs a good concentration on the palate which could last longer. As all serious sherries it is performing well above its price which takes you the question that everyone ask themselves, why don’t I drink more sherry? — 7 years ago
