I’ve had this 2017 a few times now. Opened 3 days ago snd was tight and austere. Now it’s gorgeous. Cherry fruit leather. Hint of black and licorice. Dusty tannins, likely to be at its peak in a couple of years. — 6 months ago

Beautiful aromatics with light (dried?) dusty cherries, wilted flowers, a hint of rose. Quite light, quite aetheric. So enticing!
Light bodied on the palate and very juicy. A present, fine tannic frame, filled with light cherry, a hint of red fruits, a light herby note. So poised & elegant and really delicious! — a year ago

When you’re handing out candy and chomping hoagies, what could be better than a fall inflected, dusty, Nebbiolo from AR Pe. Pe.
It hits all the corners, old enough but not too old. Firm acids, gentle tannins, reds, browns, seems perfect w the falling leaves. An Italian hoagie to partner, ah yes.
