A big wine in a big bottle that made a big group of friends very happy. The 2017 Evangelho Heritage (from magnum) is energetic with loads of sweet dark fruit. It doesn’t lack zing even though this year’s blend is short in Carignan — there are nice balancing acids and mild tannins. It is richer and riper than many vintages but still vibrant. — 3 months ago
A popular US import here in Zürich, at least with my family. Had it many times, very consistent. Solid Cab, very bold and fruit-forward, a little syrupy, some red licorice. Some haters on Delectable, but it never let me down. Very grill-worthy with plenty of smoked meats. — 12 days ago
Best kabinett I’ve had from this vintage. $28 drunk June 2025. Still on the young side. — 2 months ago
Candied fruit in the nose with blackberry jam, plums and candied fruit in the palate. — 2 months ago
Juicy and delicious — 3 months ago
At 10-years, a beautiful experience…deep, dark pour with no signs of bricking…dark fruit (more purple and black) aromatics that just keep on developing…palate mirrors aromatics with strong fruit profile…pleasing texture/mouth feel…medium finish…hard to say how much longer one should hold…tonight, it was in the right place for our dinner — 4 months ago

More developed/forward than the 2023 Carignan, but such an absolutely lovely Zinfandel, I just love what Bedrock is doing!! — 13 days ago
