Opaque dark purple color. This wine took a while to open up. Not that great right out of the bottle but this wine developed with some air. Aromas were very savory and organic. (Violets, cedar, bramble and just a hint of blackberry). Blueberry , Blackberry and dark plum fruit flavors evolved with time. Not the fruit bomb I was expecting. On the nose, dark berries, toasted oak, vanilla and forest floor. On the palate, blueberry, vanilla, transitioning into some cassis, cherry and chocolate into a long chocolaty finish. Very rich and full bodied. — 4 days ago
