Getting your hands on this wine is becoming increasingly difficult and you can see why. A beautiful wine with depth and balance, precision and expertise that will only improve with time. Soft spice, very round and juicy. Pretty apple, pear and melon nuances. Hints of vanilla, butter and chalk.
Just a pinch too much alcohol in the finish.

Richer, denser, with more weight yet still very fresh, very fine and with loads of character.
Cherries & cranberries galore with touch of undergrowth, mushrooms and herby spice.
On the palate this is not that light, with slightly chewy yet very juicy tannins, brilliant acidity, a tea like mouthfeel. Complex, layered, elegant. This is quite exceptional! — 6 years ago
