Just love this wine, great value, can’t get enough! Belle Pente (bell-pont') means "beautiful slope" - for their 70 acre hillside vineyard & winery site in Willamette Valley. Bright Ruby red with aromas of red fruits, herb spices and hints of blossom notes. On the palate strawberry and cherry flavors, slight sweet undertones, herb notes and smooth tannins. Well balanced on a long finish ending with mineral herb notes. Nice!! Great value. — 6 years ago
Deep cherry red. Black currant berry and cherry. Leather. Dried herb. Fruitiness M Sweetness M Acidity M Tannin M Silky Bitterness M Body M++ Finish M++ Highly Balanced. Powerful robust structure. Always ready to drink but still have solid impression. It means it still has a potential for long term aging. Decent cab, actually surprisingly good for Yolo county. — 6 months ago
Surprisingly light and fruity for a Cabernet! Made me think of more of a Grenache/Rhone varietal blend than Cab. Red fruit forward with lots of raspberry, a touch of strawberry & blackberry, and a hint of spice. Not what I'd expect from a California Cab but nice nonetheless! — 6 months ago

Langdon brought it to Schooleys; thinks Eddy is a fan. Very delightful — 3 months ago
Still excellent. Dark cherries, plums, dark chocolate, and leather. Fabulous on the nose, full-bodied, and complex. An outstanding wine from winemaker Sharon Harris. — 3 years ago
Dark fruit, cherries, anise, and tobacco on the nose. Very dry wine. Dried fig, vanilla, more dark fruits, more cherry, and chocolate. Long finish of leather and oak. Drink now. Decant for an hour. — 6 years ago
"Odedi"
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Red fruits on the nose with earth, spices, chocolate notes and herbs.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, red currants, earth, light wood, spices, espresso, herbs, green vegetables and peppercorn.
Short finish with grippy tannins and tart cranberries.
This is an interesting take on a Chianti from Alexander Valley. Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but a good food wine right now.
Showing nice complexity, but still a little grippy, once it opens up.
Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years and see how it evolves.
Will pair nicely with Pizza, or with Pasta with red sauce.
A field blend of Sangiovese with a touch of Canaiolo Nero, Malvasia, and Trebbiano. Aged in used French oak barrels for 17 months. A tiny production of only 1,300 bottles.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
89 points.
