Krettnacher Altenberg Spätlese Trocken Riesling 2023

Solid dry Mosel Spatlese Riesling. Balanced citrus, slate, and petrol aromas. Heavy mouth feel. Not as complex as others I've had recently, but I'm biased having sampled many reserve and Alsatian grand crus. — 5 months ago

Pét Nat Riesling

Pear, lemon, lemon curd. Cloudy, acidic and yet lactic and soft. A tad touch of minerality on the finish with hints of calcium. Tiny bubbles but lively enough. Really dig this one. — 2 years ago

Krettnacher Euchariusberg Kabinett Riesling 2017

Lovely lovely Kabinett Riesling with some nice age. Goes on for a long time. Great acid. Needs a bit of air to flesh out, and once it does, quite delicious. 8.5%. — 2 months ago

Niedermenniger Herrenberg“ Riesling Kabinett feinherb (AP-4) Onkel Peter 2022

Slightly sweeter than off-dry but with such purity & balance. And the lightness is sublime.
White peaches & lime on the front with labor sharp acidity cutting through and finishing off on a stony, rocky mineral note with a hint of salinity.
This is mouthwatering delicious and begs for (yet) another sip. Simply made for terrace sipping!
Brilliant!

Prototype Spätlese, sweet and satisfying. Honeydew and lemon. Not complex; quick finish; but could drink the whole bottle. — 2 months ago

Landwein der Mosel Weissburgunder

NV. Landwein der Saar, Los Nr 25-23. Pretty sure the chickens on the label meant that it would be great with Korean fried chicken wings, it is. Apple, lime, and bready aromas and flavors. — 10 months ago
