Niedermenninger Herrenberg Spätlese Trocken Spätburgunder 2020

Woodsy, cassis, ferns, an alpine forest.

This some juice. Beautiful light oak imparted in the best possible way. Slight vanilla, tart cherries, blackberries, leafy, woodsy, just perfect for this transitory season.

This is fresh.

PET NAT White Blend

Round 2 / this time with a selection of cheeses.

Lemongrass, pandan leaf, white cherries.

Zesty comes to mind. Straight up Asian pair. The crispness of fresh forest air. Savory, fine bubbles of tropical fruit. Lychee and mango but subtle and cut with the nice welcome dryness of biting into a freshly picked apple

Pét Nat Riesling

Pear, lemon, lemon curd. Cloudy, acidic and yet lactic and soft. A tad touch of minerality on the finish with hints of calcium. Tiny bubbles but lively enough. Really dig this one. — 4 months ago

Niedermenninger Herrenberg Kabinett Trocken Riesling 2017

Nice and quite Apple-y. Acid is there, but not at all overwhelming. Quite balanced in general. Good full mouthfeel while still being light on its feet. — 8 months ago
