Another quite tasty covid wine - drank on the balcony on Sunday night with cheese and onion pie. — 5 years ago

This was 1 of 41 wines we tasted blind to pick the next Members Premium Red at the Downs Club. Brief notes. A youthful Ruby with a purple tinge. Black ripe fruits and dark chocolate from the brilliant 2018 vintage. Charred oak. A typical Peter Lehmann Shiraz and most enjoyable. — 2 years ago

Full body and not too sweet or tart. Notes of “dark grape skin”. Very nice. — 5 years ago

Disg. 2012. My favorite of the Lieux Dits. Absolutely singing on the pop and pour with its signature aromas and flavors and integrated oxidative character supported by riveting energy, exceptional detail and seemingly infinite depth. Always such a treat. — 3 years ago
A great Colorado red blend. Dark red color. Nose of boxwood and cherries, somewhat light. Medium bodied. Slightly jammy, taste of berries and slight bit of spice. Finish diminishes quickly. — 5 years ago

2020 Disgorgment is utter perfection, a particular favorite, exploding with infinite depth of red berry fruit and chalky minerality with a vibrant, chiseled palate with singular texture and a finish that keeps on going. VO base with a touch of still Pinot from Francis Egly. Nothin’ like it. — 6 months ago
