This says Reserva.
I didn’t know.
But… that’s some Spanish old vine Tempranillo w French barrique aging(24 mo.) hell, you could have left it in there another 24.
N: Really smells like dirt and tobacco. Black plums way back there. A Big, black nose of reined in funk.
P: Tannin city, charcoal, prunes, really begs for protein, skillfully done.
Next time, 2hrs in a decanter.

Manuel Cantalapiedra was a classical pianist before taking up winemaking and overseeing his family’s vineyard in Rueda, 🇪🇸.
