Paired with roast salmon in a charcuterie sauce. Felt like a really in their prime 4th outfielder who could play any position in a pinch—not a standout but absolutely integral as a team player, if you can forgive baseball metaphors. — 2 months ago

Light garnet color with a small ruby core. Aromas of wet soil, red berries and dried rose petals. Flavors of raspberries, red currants, mushrooms and savory spices. Long lasting finish. Gripping acidity with very silky tannins. Light bodied and quite savory but still full of finesse. Needs a bit of aeration to fully open up. Solid value and nice mid-week option. Highly enjoyable, on the fruitier side (cherries, raspberries) with some nice undergrowth and a hint of mushroom.
