Château de Barbe Blanche

Lussac-St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

Bordeaux blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%). Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas of blackberry, black licorice, cedar and violets. Blackberry, black plum and blueberry fruit on the palate with additional notes of vanilla, baking spices and tobacco. Very long, smooth and earthy finish. Velvety tannins and medium-plus bodied. Nicely rounded and complex. Thanks for the bottle, Kase. — a month ago

Carte Blanche Proprietary Napa Valley Red Blend 2016

Luscious and smooth. Sweet cherry nose. Plums, bing cherries, currants on the palette that lingers through the finish. No tannic or oaky bite. — a year ago

Marcel et Blanche Fèvre - Fèvre

Fourchaume 1er Cru Chablis Chardonnay 2019

Delicious and very classic. Nose is bright, minerally, and brothy. Deeply flavored, with ripe apple veering into other orchard fruits and loads of minerality. Acids are medium. Great length. Nicely done. — 2 months ago

Marcel et Blanche Fèvre - Fèvre

Chablis Chardonnay 2020

Takes about 60 minutes to coax out the typical Chablis characteristics. Rich citrus fruits, mother of pearl salinity. The acid is there, but the dense fruit is overpowering at the moment. I suspect with time this will flesh out. Longish finish. Very good. — 10 months ago
