2018. Amazing balance of intense stone fruits, mild acidity and global palate flavors. Why do I think this is one of my best wines ever? Riesling magic in the hands of talent — 3 years ago

I couldn’t find much about Mathias besides that he was born in 1990. His mom A-F Gros makes amazing wines so does his father F Parent. Mathias’s wine on the Bourgogne level seems full-bodied with chewy texture on the palate as approachable as any young Pommard wine. I’m really floored with the design of the label and quality of the wine and I see a great future in this producer. Cork still says A-F Gros but probably not for much longer. — 7 years ago
Drinking perfectly. The nose is a mix of steeped dark cherry, old library books and cedar. Med bodied but intense - undertow of brooding darker fruit with umami, savoury meat, damp earth, and cedar all swirling. Tannin and acid completely integrated and in harmony with the fruit. Compared to the 2014 Faiveley Cazetiers this was in incredible. At Burg wine dinner with Mathias. — 2 years ago
Very good! Paired with flank steak tasting: 1) marinated in soy ginger. 2) marinated in chimichurri. Soy ginger hands down winner... but that's cause I used a crappy store bought chimi. (Never again). String beans w/ gomasio sautéed in peanut oil, roasted herb Medley potatoes — 7 years ago
