Pretty durn good, dark and probably good with light lamb, or fruity chocolate. — 5 years ago

Huge wine but classic example of old vine zin. — 7 years ago
A beautiful, soft nose with notes of plum, blackberries, black raspberries, kirsch and a touch of wild flowers. The palate is surprisingly light and elegant with bright acidity. Flavors of black raspberries, kirsch and a touch of soy lead to notes of oak and spice. The finish is long and elegant with lingering acidity and bramble fruits. — 8 years ago
Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium intensity.
Fruity nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, plums, light oak, spices, chocolates, dark coffee and peppercorn.
Long finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley. Complex with a soft mouthfeel. Elegant and fruit forward. Drinking at its peak right now, and a little metallic on the nose.
Robert Parker 93 points. Wine Spectator 92 points.
This 14 year old Pinot Noir is a good sipping wine, that also paired nicely with food.
14.6% alcohol by volume.

Iron fist in a velvet glove! 23 years old but still a puppy! Took ages to open up but showing layer upon layer of nuanced flavors and typical Margaret River gravelly salty tannin. Amazing — 7 years ago

Beautiful, intense, saline! — 4 years ago
At an old friends place in Scarborough on Moreton Bay having a wonderful seafood meal. The nose is textbook Art Series with ripe grapefruit, citrus and pear Toasty notes. The palate shows that rich oak is resolving with the powerful fruit - profound intensity which is a great match with the mornay seafood. Great persistence and length in this 3rd of 6. Hope I have the patience to have just one each year until 2024. — 5 years ago
One of the best Syrahs I’ve had. Complex nose of bittersweet chocolate, raspberries, cherries, smoke. The wine was very focused and fresh for 14 years old. Blackberry, black pepper, graphite, with a hit of menthol on the finish. Sadly, the last bottle of 2006 they had. Would def buy this again. #dumol #theunionhotel — 6 years ago
Super delicious strong zin, buy — 7 years ago
Interesting and a little atypical nose. Just-cut cedar, moist humus (not hummus), and smoke-tinged blackberry. Some rock dust too, which i expect from Paso, but not from RRV. Full-flavored, briary blackberry fruit in the mouth. The back half of the palate has some peppery heat (which I would not expect from a Zin clocking in at only 14.2%). Dry and drying on the finish. Great with my pasta. — 8 years ago
