2020 vintage, standard Chianti ruby red coloring, decent floral aromas on the nose, cherry and spice on the palette, complete shift in flavor after letting it breath for 30 minutes, it leaves a lingering but pleasant hint of smoke or burnt oak on the finish. — a month ago

What kind of art? Painting or sculpture?Woodsy, fresh, yet dry. Nice Bobal grape. — 3 years ago
I had the 2014 in 2022. Full body and elegance. From a winery right at the border to Ribero del Duero. — 4 years ago

Excellent Tempranillo from another relatively young bodega, from Castilla y Leon. Ripe berry fruits with licorice, thyme, and a lovely balsamic touch. Need time to round out the sharp acidity and the firm tannins, but at this young age it paired very well with a juicy steak. — 4 years ago
Cherry. Spice, like anise and thyme. Chalky soil. Medium tannins. Medium plus finish. Medium plus perfume. Love Sangiovese but a little tight despite decanting — 4 years ago
Surprised. Great wine. Had to open up to express itself. — 11 days ago
Kurt wine. Lovely. Upgraded version of a lower priced option but worth it. Would get again. Dry, earthy, balanced, dusty in a good way. — a month ago
Fresh, bright, solid body, tasty. — 5 months ago
Very good but didn’t blow me away like earlier vintages. Flavor profile and drinkability as a pop and pour wine are all there and worth the price - I’ve just grown to expect more from Synergy 65. — 8 months ago
Dreamy is the word that comes to mind as the 2018 Vigna la Miccia Marsala Superiore Oro wafts up with a decadent blend of roasted almonds and hazelnuts, complicated by gingery spice and baked peaches. This opens with a pretty inner sweetness and oily textures that are perfectly offset by notes of spiced citrus, cloves, cedar and a bitter tinge of coffee grounds. It cleans up beautifully, ridiculously long and staining yet still fresh, leaving hints of cocoa and butterscotch to linger on the finish. (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2024)

Northern Wisconsin with the family this week. I brought wine from the USA, Africa, Italy, and this one from Spain. Very nice! I guess i wrote this up a few months ago, so no need to repeat myself. Excellent value wine.
