Quite garnet colour , terracotta rim, slightly younger looking than the Lovara, very fine sediment . Slight touch of leather , then spiced cassis , sous bois , coffee, grafite . On the palate quite good sweet dark fruits , with touch of soy sauce , leather , sous bois , dry spices . Good balanced, quite fresh acidity , soft tannins . Medium length and still showing really quite well . At the end of its drinking window so drink now and over the next couple of years — 4 months ago
Closing the night during the fifth set of Sinner victory at the Melbourne Tennis Open
No need to wait, tannin is solved
Great concentration in the glass
Not heavy though
Super enjoyable and definitely drank in good company and a fantastic historical evening for Italian tennis 💥💥💥 — 10 months ago

A great wine that balances nicely with seafood. Could drink with other proteins — 2 months ago
Last had 2 years ago. In a good place, not sure what more time will yield. Decanted a couple hours and paired with fennel rubbed pork chops. Quite seamless. Really nice fruit and a long finish with a nice acid / mineral / saline core that provides for a long finish and makes it a great food wine. — 9 months ago

2019 vintage. $15.85 resto cost. This is huge BDX QPR. Picked up two cases to throw on the list as a cheap chicken but may hafta pick up three more to have for a year+. Finishes dry as is the St. Estèphe wont but enough fruit and balance as it stands. Can’t ask for more at this price. 11.6.24. — 17 days ago
