Beautiful Syrah. Cranberry and leather and earth. So complex. Earth and red fruit nose. A paradigm of Syrah. — 2 months ago
This is drinking really nice right now. Great mature fruit. Drink while it's at peak. Very nice upside surprise on a regional (vs vineyard) designated wine. Prost! — 3 months ago
An amazing vintage here. Nose is a bit funky out of the gates but wow once it gets going it’s all red cherries, sour cherries, and wild herbs. So so good. Really lifted. Palate is mega closed but my goodness rhys is super precise and focused. Like a laser. Unreal freshness and acidity and barely ripe sour cherry and early season cherry fruit. Insane velvety and sour/sweet tannins. Wine as sweet tart. This needs air. It’s got the bones but I will check back in an hour or two. Oh this is getting better but it’s gonna be slow. Angular and dense but so balanced. That Rhini structure abounds. — a day ago
Strongest Pinot Noir I have had. “Masculine “ to the extreme. It’s a mistake to open this wine now. Maybe in five years. I can tell this wine is well-made but it is not close to being ready to drink. — a month ago
Drinking wonderfully at present! — 2 months ago
Garagiste mystery. Really happy about this one. Rhys, pax, Arnot roberts, and Jolie laide style. Olives, dark fruits, stewed tomato, rosemary. So freaking perfect with steak. Brightness of fruit and acidity seemed to improve with a few hours of air. Maybe blew off some reduction or funk? Love it. — 2 months ago

Beautiful wine with long silky finish. Notes of red cherry, cacao, violets. Medium body. It goes nicely on its own, but would go nicely with a meal as well. Would definitely get another bottle to enjoy again — a month ago
