1880’s vines. Dark, dense and structured — 7 years ago
This wine from 1890's vines in the San Joaquin River Delta Sand was really great. Have another bottle so it went to bottom of the rack. Dark berry with very smooth long finish — 9 years ago
Young and fresh but showing many of the Dolinsek’s traditional traits: a big nose of blue and black fruits followed by a fruit forward wine of the same. It’s got bright acidity and firm tannins with a hint of black olive and pepper deeper in the wine. Drinking well now with loads of potential. — 3 months ago
From Magnum. I shared this bottle at the Russian River Valley Paulée 2024 which happened to be on the Iron Horse property. From a different time, beautiful and savory-complexity. Not an easy vintage with rain during the harvest but resolved into something lovely to share. — 2 years ago
