I might have had three glasses of this before I realized others at the table might want some of it. — 2 days ago
So juicy and tasty, such structured wine but super smooth at the same time — a month ago
More a show jumper than a thoroughbred, the 2015 Pajè Barbaresco from Roagna is light on its feet and well-balanced, but reaches great heights. High-toned red fruit (strawberry at the top), baking spice, and florals jump from the glass one-after-another and land softly on a a base of minerality. Drinking beautifully. — a month ago
Extremely enjoyable, great substitute when you don’t want to pay 4x for the Barolo. Plenty of depth and intrigue here. Pleasure. — a month ago
2007 vintage drinking very well - was almost ready out of the bottle but improved with a few hours in the decanter. Wonderful red fruit on the palate with strawberries, raspberries and red cherries. Alcohol was slightly perceptible. This is in a good place and seems unlikely to improve much, but nowhere near a state of decline. Fruit is still quite primary with nice acidity — a month ago
Crisp, tight dark red fruit that initially hid the earthy, forest floor flavors. It ultimately all integrated nicely in about an hour. Always an interesting ride with a Barolo. This one was 12 years old so we thought we didn’t need to decant….had to be patient instead. — a month ago
I am intrigued by this wine- it has subtle minerality with a clean finish. I plan to track down more:) — 18 days ago
Dark garnet in color with red fruit on the nose. Tastes like sweet cherry, strawberry, and a hint of tea. Finishes very smooth. — a month ago
