What a nose! Oyster shell, lemon, chalk, a tiny salty, savoury thing too. The palate is clean, bright, broad and minerally. There is lemon, there is a pinch of salt, there is a powerful ball of a midpalate, and a strong long, powerful finish with lemon, that chalky mouthfeel, that pinch or salt and a superb everlasting smile on my face. The aromatics were typical of a Mediterranean white with flowers and minerality more so than fruit driven. Initially a creaminess to the palate which finishes quite mineral/salty. The saltiness dominates somewhat at the end which finishes bone dry. Following day a great match with fresh Pacific Oysters. — 3 years ago
