Belle Glos

Clark & Telephone Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021

Crafted by Joseph J. Wagner, 4th generation winemaker, with winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Deep Ruby with red berry fruit aromas, tea and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of jammy blackberry and cherry with pronounced sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes. Soft tannins and bright acidity, well balanced, with mineral tones on a long finish ending with toasty spice! Nice! — 11 days ago

Patrina Alban Estate Syrah 2020

2020 vintage. Medium-heavy body. Dense, fruity nose. Some VA about. High palate concentration but not so much on the grounding, low palate. Granted, too youthful now. Revisit in 3-4 years seems appropriate. 6.5.24. — 11 days ago

Bien Nacido Hillside Estate Syrah 2016

2016 vintage. Last tasted 1.14.24 (9.4). Ripped through the last two bottles. Medium/medium-heavy body. Still plenty of meaty/gamey qualities afoot but undergoing potty training and getting domesticated. Just starting to get cultured and “pretty.” 4.12.24. — 2 months ago
