A night of wine, laughter, adventure and charity with new friends. Nashville Wine Auction — 12 hours ago
Old standby. I guess i haven't written about the 2022. This wine is softer than previous bottlings. Typical Sangiovese flavors, though the tiny bit of Cabernet Franc is apparent. Cherry, sweet tobacco, a bit heavy on florals, lower tannins but a lingering finish.

Dark, lush fruits. Soft tannins, but a peppery finish. Great with my Veal Milanese. — 8 days ago
Call me old school I still love #supertuscan wines — a month ago
We had the 2012 vintage on 8/4-5/26. Dark ruby in color. Raspberry, leather and tobacco on the bouquet. Raspberry, cherry, leather and spice on the palate. Still tannic. Needs more aeration. Ready to drink. Old World. Very good — 7 days ago
Dark fruits, tobacco, clay leather. Decanted for 2 hours… well integrated tannins, medium acidity — a day ago
Leaning into a distinctly understated style, this vintage keeps things subtle rather than overwhelming. On the nose, it offers a gentle mix of dried herbs, earth, and soft red cherry. On the palate, the wine feels graceful and light, focusing entirely on proportion rather than heavy extraction or punchy concentration. While the tannins remain firm, it ultimately feels like an elegant wine where you just expected a bit more.
The wine is perhaps at it's quieter window...well-made and structural, but lacking the mid-palate fireworks or dramatic nose you expect at that price point and prestige. — 19 days ago
Vigna Nastagio. Although the wine was satisfactory, it did not meet my expectations. I had previously had a more enjoyable experience with other vintages. The dominant tannic notes were even noticeable in an 8-year-old wine. — 25 days ago
Incredibly lucky to even taste this, way outside of what I'm familiar with. First thing i noticed is how concentrated the nose is, extremely aromatic, red fruit with a creamy note and oak that is perfectly integrated. Normally I can smell when an ABV is this high but not with this wine. I can't believe how perfectly balanced it is - tannins, fruit, acidity, oak is all the perfect exact amounts so that nothing stands out on its own, but it has such concentrated flavor that everything stands out at the same time — 17 days ago

Drink quickly to blackberry & plums. Dark cherry/tobacco fine cigar. Doesn’t hang around long though, so enjoy the moment! — 17 days ago
