Juicy and vibrant. Red/dark fruit dominate but there is also earthy flavours and the unmistakeable old world musty library book thing. Silky. Firm but well integrated tannins and high acidity. Great food wine. Better in 5 years. — 8 months ago

We tried this in like 2019 and we were blown away! We bought something like 4 more bottles and drank them over the years. Each time, there was more happening. And this time, there’s a whole new depth.

Lots of acid and the early dryness quickly moves into a tangy apricot flavour. There’s some green apple and even hazelnut at the end and a long mouth feel.

69 % Sauvignon Blanc, 22 % Vermentino, 5 % Viognier and 4 % Verdicchio.
Hand picked and whole cluster gentle pressing. In Barriques, 25 % new, 25% used and 50 % steel tank and concrete.
No malo fermentation.
6 months on fine lees contact with regular batonnage and 12 months in bottle. Pale straw yellow.
Crisp, racy acidity with freshness and complexity.
White flowers, white grapefruit, sage, aromatic herbs and fresh cut grass.
Very impressive.

Pretty color of ruby with a fruity nose.

Medium to full in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate, elegant and rich.

Showing plums, cooked cherries, spices, light oak, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco, peppercorn, chocolates, earth and herbs.

Tangy finish with medium tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very tasty Sangiovese from Montepulciano. Spicy and tangy. Complex and interesting.

This 7 year old is well balanced with a nice mouthfeel.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses. Will pair nicely with a big piece of steak.

Very good. At this moment in time not much difference between this and the 2020 Tignanello that we drank next to it. Same style. This one being much more open and less backbone, the Tignanello needs more time with more to come. — 3 months ago
