A rich crimson in colour. Subdued dusty plummy notes. On the palate savoury plum with earthy notes - mellow and soft with totally resolved Tannins - medium plus to profound intensity - at its peak I haven’t had many aged Riojas but this was a beautiful wine. Delicious with teriyaki lamb at China Doll restaurant, Sydney. — 5 years ago
The 2021 Pinot Noir Maresh Vineyard Royal Ann Block is wonderfully spicy and expressive, with hints of blood orange and mint complementing dried strawberries. Silky and round with juicy acidity and vividly ripe wild berries, this takes on a tactile mineral tinge toward the close. It finishes long yet energetic, forcing the mouth to water as hints of raspberry and inner rose fade. Purity exemplified. What a gorgeous interpretation of Royal Ann Block. Carmel corn on the nose. Poached pear, toasty and buttery flavor. A tasty Chardonnay. — 4 years ago
Wonderful Shiraz. Great nose with bold flavors and smooth finish. Enjoyed at China Lane in Sydney. — 5 years ago
Excellent red blend! Nice afternoon on the patio at Cooper Ridge! — 5 years ago
Rich black fruits and oak on the nose. Light body, good acidity but balancing peppery tannins, a good amount of fruit and some minerality too. Lots going on and not just a fruit bomb from CA. — 8 months ago
Delicious and smooth. Light oak, fresh fruit. We enjoyed this one a lot! — 3 years ago
Contrary to my last note, this IS my last bottle of 2 dozen. Mid Ruby in colour. Dark ripe cherries with a little pepper on both nose and palate. Can see why this wine has won 13 Trophies on the Australian Show Circuit including 5 at Royal Sydney. Ridiculous value at $22 or less. So easy to drink. Made by French winemaker Celine Rousseau in the cool climate Hilltops District near Young NSW. Wish I had more. — 4 years ago

See quite a few previous Delectable notes. Interesting back story about Fermoy Estate being served at the wedding of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark to Sydney girl, Mary Donaldson. This is my last bottle. A deep dark crimson. A lovely nose of blackcurrant, eucalyptus and herbs. Palate of medium intensity showing those aromatics. A pretty good Margaret River Cabernet from the Wilyabrup district. Probably doesn’t get the credit it deserves being overshadowed by its more famous neighbours in Moss Wood, Woodlands, Vasse Felix and Cullen. — 3 months ago
