91+, a baby and needs 1 hour to open up. More fruit and density than usual, but just a smodge more than normal, pretty consistent! — a month ago
Do not pass up an opportunity to buy this wine. Expensive Nerello but worth every cent. Tart red fruit with smoke and scorched earth. Complex but very easy drinking. — 22 days ago

2020 Pietra marina - Etna Bianca superiore. Golden straw coloration. From Mila, birthplace of carricante, why it’s superiore. On the nose, citrus, herbaceous, salinity and minerality. On the palate, rich mouthfeel, citrus, herbs, salinity from the sea, and a finish of herbs (tarragon?) and minerals. Interesting- combo of Chablis and Chardonnay. Paired with mushroom and spring onion mayonnaise. — 16 days ago
2022 Etna Rosso santo spirito: light dark soil, very loose and sandy. lighter cherry and fruitier nose, on the palate, cherry, heavy minerals. Strong tannins. Very popular wine. Very deep vines. — 16 days ago
Very nice, a little age has helped bring out some complexity. But the 14.5% weighs it down a bit — a month ago

Light and tart at the outset. First notes are full of juice with pomegranate, green apple, and apricots. This lingers on into the finish with just a touch of smoke. Easy to enjoy. — 2 days ago
