Good but not great bottle — 5 months ago
Light-med body, dry, acidic. Mineral cherry soil. — 6 months ago
Barnyard funk, ripe red fruit, cinnamon, oak, cloves, and cola. Medium tannins, high alcohol, high acid, and medium finish. Big and hot. — 4 years ago
Always well made and always a great value. Nose needs some air to coax it out. But then there’s gorgeously pure black cherry and crushed stone powder. Mouthfilling flavors of dark, ripe fruit and minerality. Fairly long finish. Seems very tight, and there’s good acidity and some noticeable tannin, so this looks like a sure bet for improvement over the next few years at least. 9.1 for now but I’m pretty sure there’s upside. — 8 days ago

Pretty darn compelling, focused, lemon rhind and mineral, with good balance in the palate. — 4 years ago

2005 vintage. Nice fill. Great cork. Not decanted. Tasted after one hour open. Fully integrated and pretty close to the top of the bell curve...maybe another year or two? This was firing. Uncommon balance. Medium body. Tannins and fruit in lockstep. 7.25.26. — a month ago
Med light, med dry, med alcohol, low alcohol, med body. Very easy drinking tasty wine — 3 months ago
Good value northern Rhône syrah. Lots of the standard markers: dark cherry, blueberry, black olive, some smoky bacon. Medium tannins, firm but not overpowering. — 6 months ago
New Year 2022. 2017 base, degorged 7/2020. A notable increase in intensity and minerality - a great value within the range — 3 years ago

Memory notes. Big and loose-boned and flow-ey. The nose had loads of spicy blackberry fruit and intense garrigue earthy/herbal notes. Soft textured. Lowish acids. — 19 days ago
