Surprisingly good. Starts out with pleasant reduction, white flowers and hay, plus a bunch of tingling minerality. Fruit is mostly citrus wi the some just ripe stone fruit. The palate has a great acid and a better viscosity then expected, without lees and with a touch of oxidation. Great stuff, chardonnay-Riesling blend for structure-florals with something else for body, if I had to guess, but could be way off. — 3 years ago

Best New World red in a long time.
Rich but not overpowering. Interesting, balanced, and just plain delicious. Rebuy. — 2 years ago

Such a compelling bottle. Petite Sirah planted in the 1880s, in the hands of a master. The tannins have mostly melted, leaving a silken, eucalyptus-infused wine. — 14 days ago
