Medium gold color. Honeysuckle and lemon zest on the nose. Same on the palate with decent acidity and metallic elements. Got better with air. — 3 months ago
This is bonkers good. So fresh. Berries, currant, sage, some flowers, cherries, some pepper and herbs, good acidity, long tart lovely finish. Killer cab franc. — 6 months ago
A red Meursault! Excellent, intriguing red fruited earthy notes with balanced if not lean palate and a nice tingling finish. Actually great with Evan’s sushi bake off salmon and crab. — 8 months ago
2022 earthy, Hass selection Olivier — a year ago
Generally not a big fan of cabernet franc, but this was recommended to me as an especially good example. Glad I tried it. Not heavy, but distinct notes of fruit and earth/leather. Really good abd sophisticated, especially at this price ($28 I think). Recommended by Lower Falls Wine Shop in Wellesley, MA. — 20 days ago
As if it wasn’t enough to experience three separate vintages of Noël Verset; I now get to follow it up with Thiérry Allemand’s Sans Soufre! Opened prior to dinner and enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2001 “Sans Soufre” pours a deep ruby/purple with a transparent core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous with wild notes of pure blue fruits, blueberries and figs, mixed brambles, Fun Dip stick, purple flowers, spiced meat, chanterelle mushroom, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is long. The structure remains monumental giving me the impression that this could easily see its 50th birthday. Drink now with some patience through 2051. — 3 months ago
Bought this 2020 cru at $50. While in Cleveland. Was assured it was worth every penny it and it is outstanding. Crushed dark fruits including fig with spices. Juniper, pine, camphor oil, leather and bitter orange peel. Truly one of the biggest and most complex Moulin a Vents I’ve ever had. A wintry wine for roasted foods. Has easily another 5 years ahead of it. — 4 months ago
Decent blend, somewhat dry — 7 months ago
Extra dry, tannins, mineral, medium light, medium alcohol, med acid. Not fruity at all — 4 years ago
Dark fruits with notes of meat, graphite, spice, licorice, mineral & violets — 2 months ago
Anyone who thinks Bojo does not age never tasted this wine. Beautiful aromas of dried black cherry, cranberry and smoke. My palate was assaulted with flavors of black & red cherries, cinnamon, spice and minerals. Plenty of acid despite the warm year. So obvious it was made by a Burgundy producer. A perfect cork helps. — 3 months ago

Nice viscosity, caramel, honey, sea fossils, green apple, white citrus blend, fruit blossoms, well balanced with finish for days. — 4 months ago
Switched to Richbourg as we have over consumed Vosne Romanee and we needed a different style of Burgundy to go with our Pigeon!
Usual notes of red fruits (strawberry) to begin and a beautiful fruit concentration with soft, smooth texture throughout the 2 hours we managed to hold off on chugging it! — 9 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several hours. The 2017 “Les Saint Georges” pours a deep ruby color with a translucent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with gorgeous notes of raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, pomegranate, red flowers, sous bois, mushroom, and exotic spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. The nose alone is worthy of songs. Drink now through 2037. — 24 days ago
