Beautiful label with original artwork. Aged well. Color is still very dark. Smells meaty. Floral too. Hints of violets. Berry melange. Flavors are dense and very tannic. Fairly complex and very chewy. Clean and clear with the lovely flavors. Plenty of savory and licorice-y stuff. This is Petite at its best and it’s still going strong 14 years on. — 4 months ago
1 hour decant(little cloudy sediment). A wondrous dark ruby red color. On the nose: jumping from the glass are dark berries, loamy earth, oak, pencil shavings, and smoke. Taste: soft, lush, integrated wine with dark plum, currants, lots of milk chocolate, and a spiced cherry/tar medium finish. YUM! — a month ago

Dinner in Indianapolis before the 500 tomorrow. A great way to start the weekend with a spectacular wine — a month ago
Really pleasant. Very light and easy drinking; heavy green apple and lemon flavors with apricot. It's got a mineral edge but not in a typical limestone sort of way. Would buy again, but it doesn't last very long, so finish the bottle within a day. Two max. — 3 months ago

Bright straw gold color with faint green highlights. Intense aromas and flavors of gooseberry, grapefruit, lime, poblano pepper, roasted nuts, kiwi and lemon. Pleasant note of smoky minerals on the very long finish. Bone dry with vibrant and mouth watering acidity. Creamy texture, very complex and extremely fresh. Great QPR. — a month ago
