dried berries, hint of mushroom, alpine freshness. Wait 30 min and woohoo — 11 days ago
Red cherries, raspberries, dried herbs, wet stone, and hints of ginger and cardamom. Lovely and definitely gives me a new appreciation for Barbera. — a month ago
Considered the star of the CdA lineup, and similar to their chiantis which all have some Merlot blended in, but this was too much Merlot for me - had that plasticity I don’t love — 2 months ago
I love this Montalcino ($63 Davidson’s) and the general cherry-herbal-menthol flavor profile of Montalcinos. I’ve had this one before, and enjoyed just as much. The highest Delectable rated of my recent Montalcino purchases, interestingly. — 3 months ago

A fairly dry Chianti. Works well with pizza however. October 2024. — a month ago

2013 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and after 30 mins. Reticent nose. Medium-heavy body. Massive flavors and structure. Wouldn’t open it any time soon. Phenomenal now but so so intense. If you can Potsie it for a decade plus, do so. Another reminder as to why Barolo is the wine of kings. 11.01.24. — 17 days ago
