Morey Saint Denis Pinot Noir 2019

Great vintage for this showing lots of red & black fruits, spice, earth, mineral & violets. A wine I buy every year that always delivers — 20 days ago

Les Ruchots Morey St. Denis 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2021

Big and animal. Lots of good funk and wild sappy fruit. Delivers pretty immediate pleasure, but on the bigger side of Burgundy. Aged in clay amphorae and barrel. — 23 days ago

Much yes. Not exactly bashful. The 2022 verry similar.

Clos de Tart Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2017

Excellent! Smooth and polished. Super long and showing more maturity than I was expecting. All the classic notes in a superb showing. — a month ago

Monts-Luisants Morey Saint-Denis 1er Cru Chardonnay 2016

Certainly not as rare as the Ponsot’s Clos des Monts Luisants, but as soon as I saw this on the wine list at reasonable price, I knew this was what I wanted to order.

The nose opens with lemon oil, white peach, crushed stones, and subtle hazelnut. The palate is supple yet lively, with vibrant acidity framing ripe orchard fruit and a cool, chalk-driven core. A faint floral note and gentle oak spice add complexity. Elegant with refined balance.
