Nicely texture, dark fruit, smooth tannins , light acidity, but not sappy still bright garnet red — a day ago
Beautiful nose and drinks better. Glad I bought a case. Will “test” it going forward. — a month ago
Rustic and hearty and a little bit boxy until it loosens. It's shy aromatically. Earthy, bing cherries, prunes, and crushed rosemary.
Tannin, structure, and acid seem intact when a little give would do.
Cali wildness that doesn't feel quite as psychedelic as the Chardonnay (see previous note) — 6 months ago

One of Hirsch’s more rugged bottlings, being on the east ridge. Opened way to early. So much acidity and freshness overwhelmed the darker fruits you could tell sat beneath. Lots of promise. Will wait on the next one. — a month ago
needed a few more years but has great structure — 2 months ago
It’s got that CA profile. Dusty earth and tooti frooti but also has some good spice. But yea, that CA profile. Elegant, sweet and balanced. Not big but small and pure. Nice. — 4 months ago

Some red fruits up front, still quite fruit-driven with plenty of acidity, medium-bodied, medium-long finish, really holding up well, but mature as well, time to drink up. — 9 days ago
