A good rioja kind of expensive $45 — 2 months ago
No notes. A bit of age on this one. Always a success for a slightly oaked white bordeaux. Tangy notes and some structure. Cool stuff. — 3 months ago
Raspberries on the nose and a bit of earth and spice, tart on the palate with lovely acidity for 12 years, a balance of fruit and earth, soft tannins. Basque Country, here we come!! — 2 months ago
Color of dried orange peel or Hot Tamales. Beautiful little firecracker.
Smells oxidized, though crisp in the mouth. A duality of candy and fresh fruit, like biting into a caramel apple. Deep, and whole, and very appley indeed. Also dried apricots and butterscotch and fresh peach.
A deep, complex wine that could go the million and one directions of a human mind. — 3 months ago
Not a strong fragrance…
Drinks a bit tart/sour, with flavors of spice and tart fruit. — a month ago
2024 June. Totally classic Rioja, in a light-on-its-feet but layered style; I also felt this was a bit fleshier and juicier than the last bottle. — 4 months ago

Always some of my absolute favorite wines. 07 Reynard is in the most perfect place, perfumed, layered and searingly intense with dark fruit, campfire smoke, olive tapenade, violets and a liquid rock minerality. The palate is simply seamless and one of the most complete Allemand wines in recent memory, with incredible complexity, definition and a saturating texture. A top notch Reynard that’s just rocking right now. — 18 days ago
