A Gemischter Satz from Burgenland, slightly naturalistic, a bit funky, highly drinkable.
A flowery nose with some ripe pear, apple, summer meadow but also a salty, herby note adding an interesting edge.
On the palate this is vibrant, energetic, juicy. There’s a bit of grip, a beautiful mouthfeel, nice mid palate presence. Yellow fruit, ripe & a bit bruised, with great juiciness and an underlying salty minerality.
This has character, interesting edges and good depth. And disappears in a blink.
Lobe the label, too! — 3 years ago
Alpine flowers on the nose, rounder on the palate with lemon and lime citrus, ripe nectarine, and gravelly minerality on the finish. Yum!!

Really lovely. Like grapefruit and raisins. — 8 months ago
The grand finale! Dad brought this. I tasted apricot and agave. Tasting notes were marmalade and barley sugar. I can’t say I could pin “barley sugar” but I am stashing that descriptor for future tastings 🤪 — 2 years ago

Store fruit nose, florals and fruity, reminds me of a sparkling version of the Meinklang Burgenlandwhite. Pretty well balanced, refreshing, and good price point for a summer outdoor gathering, like a music show at an amphitheater. — a day ago
