Not a big white wine drinker .
But it’s such a light , smooth & very refreshing drink ….
@very faint taste & super light on the tongue — 7 months ago
Last bottle of a summer dinner- no decant. 2nd tasting of this vintage & much more expressive than the first. Throws Brett a decent amount & imagine some might prefer a substantial decant, though I like the funkiness. Fine toothed &a lovely grainy, slightly chewy texture & rather elegant; cassis, black currant, smoked beef jerky, & black cherry on palate & nose. Not complex at this stage but who needs it given the enjoyment factor. Post meal ( or probably blended into the end) of grilled BBQ chicken, French lentilsw labneh, & local tomato salad. There goes summer… — a month ago
Cherry, violet, hay, a tiny touch of licorice too. This is quite exciting and profound. The palate is showing a massive acid backbone, some width and grip, some cherry notes, but the fruit is a little discreet. There are tannins popping up in the rear, disturbing the mouthfeel, powering up a tangy finish with cherry and a nice bitter note along with a tiny salty touch, almost sea breezesque if that makes sense. This is a serious beaujo, very different from fruit bombs and other crowd-pleasing usual expressions that people tend to rave about. This is gastronomy wine and playing in the same league as some other wines from a different varietal that grow a bit farther to the north. — 8 months ago
Super interesting ages rose paired with rose octopus at chèvre d’or. They made us blind it in these black glasses. Thought it was a heavy white at first. With Manu and Hitomi. Overlooking eze with the best seats in the house bc Manu met the som at a bar in nice last week — 3 months ago
Balanced in every way. I love it. — 6 months ago
Very nice sparkling from chenin blanc, Chardonnay, and cab franc. Floral nose with a touch of jasmine. Fresh fruits on the palate including white peach, green apples, and pear. Creamy mouth feel. Great bottle for the price. — 9 months ago

Wow this is a stunner. Huge fruit. plus some funk, florals, grape jelly, it’s got that indescribable nose that lets you know this is special. Palate is so juicy, stoney and so deep. So much finesse. Stunning. — 22 days ago
