Super sour lemon entry takes the tastebuds by force, lime tones into a touch of pepper, then returns to pie spices. Delicious sour beer, but ‘treat’ is a bit deceptive, only because it evokes sugary-ness which this eschews. Lovely, sour, aggressive, great!

Sour buttermilk, boiled potato, clotted cream, crimini mushroom and Parmesan herald a funky-earthy scent made pleasant by maple sap, pickled peach, underripe apricot, and coriander. Apple cider vinegar bursts into the palate with wincing alacrity, which, with goat cheese becomes a bright tangerine and near-ripe apricot. Still has a pickled note. Pickled yellow pepper, onion, red bell and general chow chow diciness, as well as a sauerkraut and sweet mustard combo. Razzy, jazzy and bracing. Stellar example of the lambic style. .

Yellow watermelon orange, border of opacity. Loose, bright, white foam. Suddenly enough, none, but fast and oily brain grooves and amorphous blob-people trace out the forlorn and droopy lacings. Cheer up! The nose is full of concentrated tangerine zest, with look-alive lime, and lemon scented sunshine glinting off of shattered space debris. There is something so ‘dessicated lemon’ here, with a lambic-balsam edge, but also gasoline and lemongrass-white pepper. Anomalistic. Tasty sour pear, grapefruit, and funky golden plum all burst in sour unison, leaving pineapple to prickle amidst the pieces, and apricot shows ripely, timely and dedicatedly sweet, perhaps even slightly dried. Really amazing and complex, seamless without becoming divergent or clunky.
