Let it breathe - decanted for 2 hours, very significantly leveled acidity — a month ago
Deep ruby red. Matured raspberry. Liquor like. Red flower with vanilla. Quite elegant. Like ART. Earthy. Spiciness. Acidity. 19 @, Fred, 241220 — a month ago
Nice nose of spice, mid season cherry, dark rustling leaves, wet moss, dark flowers, and lots of mineral. Terrific depth and ebullience on the nose. Palate is ripe and juicy but a bit one note, lacking in energy and the tannins seem a bit much for the vintage. Let’s see where this goes. The tannins melted away but it was boring and correct. — 16 days ago

Excellent big gigondas - went well with balsamic chicken — a month ago
Nearly opaque crimson color.
Rich bouquet with tannins present.
Immediately spiced on the palate with an earthy, cocoa, herbaceous, candied, fertilized quality.
Lots of gentle chocolate rounded out by dark, fresh fruit. — a month ago
Smooth drinking with a trout dinner. Not too fruity. — 12 days ago

This isn’t a cab that whispers—it roars, with deep blackcurrant, dark chocolate, and a hint of cigar box that smells like old money and good decisions. The tannins are firm but polished, like they’ve been around the block and know exactly when to kick in. It’s bold, it’s structured, and it’s not messing around. Pair it with a thick, bloody steak, good conversation, and elegant lies—your guest will believe almost anything you say. — 8 days ago
