Really a very nice Corsican red. I believe the grape is the local version of Sangiovese. Has some very different purple flowers and herbal notes, but still the great tension and acid. Delicious and interesting. — 3 months ago
Whiff of barnyard after pulling the cork. Blew off after an hour in the decanter. Black cherry, leafy herbal notes on the nose and palate. Medium bodied and good acidity. Served with prime rib. — 3 years ago
2024/7/12-14. I’ve really missed drinking Jobard’s wines. Opening with toasty lemon tart, this reveals a wide, spicy bouquet and a remarkably savory, saline mineral palate. — 4 months ago
Still a little closed, needs some time or significant air but tremendous purity and whole cluster structure, red fruit driven with rose petals, wet earth and leaves, a touch of smoke and stony limestone character aplenty — 6 months ago
