Young wine. Opened at 4pm. Immediate nose is massive blue fruit and incredible aroma. Latter when poured at 530 - super green pepper flavor and tobacco / charcoal. This wine won best tasting out of 10 different Sauvignon Blancs! Someone commented, “It blew my socks off.” Wairau has an intoxicating aroma of beautiful floral and light citrus notes.
