Great Pinot from Graubünden. New producer to me. Very fragrant, juicy red fruit, and a wonderful finish filled with Fall spices, vanilla and red licorice. Smooth with a woodsy, earthy feel. Takes me to the Alps in summer. I popped and poured, and there is hardly any alc showing - so balanced. 13.5% abv. Will also be great when it gets colder again. It’s overcast and cool today, like Swiss weather, so it works. Thanks @Lyle Fass @Delectable Wine this is vom Lindenwingert. — a year ago
I’ve had Wegelin’s Brut and Chardonnay before, but this is my first red (Blauburgunder = Pinot Noir). Very nice! Quite closed and overly young at first, but it starts to open quickly. Tart cherry and currant, focused acidity and mineral dryness. Medium body, 13% abv. Tasting it with Bresaola, which is similar to Bündnerfleisch from Graubünden. Perfect pairing! Will see how this develops. @Lyle Fass
Follow up a couple hours later: the fruit shows much more with dry blueberries and raspberries under the acidity. Prime drinking after 3+ hours. — a year ago
Очень легкое цветочное вино. Вкусно, долгое легкое послевкусие, хочется еще. Заказать в хумидор — 3 years ago
Gorgeous and plump. Haven’t had since barrel. Like a Pomerol. White chocolate, red berry, pepper and a hint of gorgeous swiss florals and herbals. Palate is so plump, juicy and super fresh. Just incisive and clear plummy fed fruit and so much mineral freshness. Clearly leads some air but just a stunningly complex wine. — 6 months ago
Have not had since the estate and wow this is insane. Unreal spice and mineral force. Overwhelming aromas and stunning wet earth. The gout de terroir is unreal. The decadence yet restraint is unreal. I could smell all day. Cherries on cherries on cherries. Cranberry bog, some light red currants. Just insane. Unreal finesse. Wow! Huge fruit soak and density. Massive structure and so pure. This always needs air and wow will this come alive after some air. Just stunning. 9.6 out of the gates. This got amazing after 2-3 hours and was all silk and satin with squeegee levels of red and black cherry fruit. I bet it will be even better tonight. — 7 months ago
Nose is hyper floral. Melon, wild mint, savory, MT on steroids yet lyrical. Stunning, sappy, deep, loads of dry extract, unreal density and juiciness. Such succulence, freshness, density and dry extract but with powerful fruit clarity. Love the bitter citrus pith on the finish. — a year ago
Just a stunning bottle of wine. The nose leaps out of the glad with bright, clearly defined mid season cherries. Gorgeously elegant and earthy with mineral notes that are so utterly refined you can almost smell the vines in that Alpine air. Wild flowers, so intense and pure. So supple and juicy with unreal juuuust almost not quite but barely sweet fruit which no one does like Adank. The most supple and velvety texture and finishes so delicately mineral it’s whispering. This is a stunning wine and for the $60 we sold it for one of the greatest Pinot Noir values ever. Adank is a giant. — a year ago
This blew my (and hubs) doors off. Light and deft touch with an underlying smoky/sultry thing going on. As Lyle would say- nose is off the charts. Approachable but also makes me stop and ponder- a lot going on to love — 2 years ago

Fantastic. A range of strawberry, perfectly ripe, sweet cherry, humus, peonies, fresh roses, hint of anise, black tea. Palate of sweet cherry, strawberry, well integrated acidity and grip, excellent length. This is a unique wine and clearly has a sense of place. @Lyle Fass — 10 months ago

Pinot Blanc is usually “meh” in vinous form but not when it’s made by Patrick Adank. Varietally correct but oh so much more. Unreal purity and out of control finesse. So long, dense, nimble and stunning. Just insane mouthfeel. Art. — a year ago

So so dense. So tight. So coiled. So elegant. So concentrated. Structured. Checking in tomorrow. Nose is so floral, a day later. Very mineral and so expressive. Palate is enormously complex, chewy and dense. My goodness the density of this wine is just insane. It’s barely budged overnight. Fleshier, yes but also there still is more to come. Day 3 awaits. — a year ago
One of the best Swiss Pinots we sell and it is a smoke show in 2020. Wow. Ethereal perfume of sappy cherries, black cherries, late season cherries, light smokey oak, camphor, burnt fireplace embers, decaying leaves, vanilla extract and spice. So complex and deep. 9.7 nose. Insane. Wow! Wow! So complex, elegant and juicy. Sweet fruit with tons of energy but my goodness what finesse and sleek fruit. This is amazing. The finish has a lipstick like intensity. Stunning on the PNP and I am sure will improve with air. What a finish. Goes on and on. This has such a weightlessness to it plus top notch fruit clarity. Unreal delicacy. Just a stunning showing.
What a nose on day 2. Unreal harmony, purity and clarity. The essence of cherries. Blown away. So expansive. Palate is silken, sweet finessed pinot fruit with a long sappy finish. Remarkable. — 2 years ago

Brilliant showing. Brambly red cherries and red berries. Loads of spice and Alpine charm. Fresh grasses, flowers and more. Frankly amazing spice. Palate is fresh and teeming with energy. Opulent and juicy but tense. Generous but electric. A terrific showing. Even better on day 2 with soaring aromas and unreal juiciness. — 6 months ago
