To my palate the opposite of new world- as referenced in a previous note-& drinks more like a Pouilly Fume; quite rich, minerally & taut. Some layers too, with white flowers & honey, still quite full on palate w a slightly petrol nose. Insane Qpr at 14$. — 5 months ago
2017: Well-rated, very good CDP that features darker stewed fruit flavors and a good amount of port and earth nuances. While it suffers a typical CDP lack of acidity and vibrancy at this stage the fruit concentration makes this an above-average bottling and complements the growing complexity. Good value at $52 (VR). — 7 months ago

Berry medley, dark chocolate, some herb spice like coconut and vanilla bean, bit of char and oak spice, hint of geranium on the nose. Baked ripe summer berries, light brewed black tea, cocoa powder, lingering soft chalky tannins. Best after a day opened in the fridge, overall a wonderful value. — 7 months ago

The description: Mostly famous for its dark, rich and powerful reds, Bastide de la Ciselette offers a rosé with a full spectrum of aromas including wild raspberries, blood orange, ruby red grapefruit and white pepper. The mouth has a rich texture and notes of sage, rosemary and pink peppercorn.
The opinion: The description is accurate but and it’s very good but previous years better; normally mark it a 9 or better. — 23 days ago
