Red cherries, raspberries, dried herbs, wet stone, and hints of ginger and cardamom. Lovely and definitely gives me a new appreciation for Barbera. — a month ago
Considered the star of the CdA lineup, and similar to their chiantis which all have some Merlot blended in, but this was too much Merlot for me - had that plasticity I don’t love — 2 months ago

Herbs, roses, cherry fruit, tons of mineral complexity and a backbone of asphalt and coal. Amazing. — 22 days ago

2013 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and after 30 mins. Reticent nose. Medium-heavy body. Massive flavors and structure. Wouldn’t open it any time soon. Phenomenal now but so so intense. If you can Potsie it for a decade plus, do so. Another reminder as to why Barolo is the wine of kings. 11.01.24. — 7 days ago
