A light, flowery, green apple dominated blend of Encruzado, Bucal & Malvasia Fina.
Fresh, sappy, light on the aromatic side but makes it up with the stony, salty minerality.
Ultra long and quite lovely! — 9 months ago
Aromas of ripe citrus and stone fruit are lifted by a subtle, herbaceous breeze. The palate is vibrant and rounded, with a refreshing acidity that leads to a clean, saline-mineral finish. — 6 months ago
Acid is bright but very soft. Lovely gentle wine. — 7 months ago

Champagne Method Portuguese sparkler. Blend of native Portuguese grapes including Maria Gomes (23%), Bical (70%) and Cercial (7%). Aromas and flavors of pear, citrus fruits, white flowers, wet stones, honey and anise. Hint of chalk, smoke and minerals on the long finish. Expressive effervescence and creamy texture. (Lees Aging?) Unique, interesting and easy to drink. Excellent QPR. — a year ago
Light & crisp from Tacaron on 10/21/25. Blend of Portuguese grapes. — 6 months ago
Wet rocks and some herbal/floral aromas that also come through on the palate with almonds and some salinity. Some citrus acidity but it's toned down from when we first had the wine. Bought at the L'Etoile Iberian Wine Dinner 8/4/22, don't know how it got lost on the shelf for 3 years! — 7 months ago
A blend of 100y+ old Encruzado, Bical and Sercial, fermented & aged 11m in French oak.
Very Burgundian on the nose with yellow stone fruit, subtle oak, very elegant, very enticing.
medium bodied on the palate, with brilliant tension between the oaked fruit and the juicy, zippy acidity. Beautiful precision here, with depth & length. Very elegant, very Burgundian indeed.
A truly lovely and quite serious wine. Delish! — 9 months ago

80% Bical, 20% Arinto. I might like their red better ( My beloved Baga) but this still stands out for its showing as a mid weight beauty, lemon curd & almond paste notes, with a strong mineral streak & some interesting fennel & herb notes at the edges. Hopefully not cursing it by saying it’s Burgundy adjacent — 13 days ago
