Medium bodied with a vibrant golden yellow color. The nose is very prominent, with both beautiful prominent salinity opening into baked notes of glazed doughnut, amber, candied pecans, cumquat and lemon preserves. The palate is very different, with a light acidity and prominent yellow fruit notes especially ripe lemon. The flavor then evolves into something both nuttier and more vegetal with a loooong finish that lasts forever with a freshness, citrus and minerality that comes from a volcanic island wine. Medium lemon , with golden hints . Slightly floral at first , with some honeysuckle , apricot, ripe apple , wet stone and slate . On the palate quite stuctured , intense , with more of the slightly saline , peach , apricot , ripe apple. High acidity with slate and chalky notes on the refreshing finish . Even though the colour looks quite advanced , the wine is fresh and vital and will age well over the next 5-8 years . @Delectable Wine this is actually a blend , Arinto dos Açores , Terrantez do Pico and Verdelho — 6 months ago

Nose is a whisper of rose petal, violet, lavendar, red currant jelly. Palate is prickly, gravelly, with crushed rock, rosehip and red currant, and unsweetened cranberry juice. Sour clear fruit juice, but very crystalline, saline and mineral. White wine in disguise. Delicious — 9 months ago
