Blend of 65% Zinfandel, 16% Carignane, 14% Petite Sirah & 5% Mataro. Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, oak and spicy and scents. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with pepper, cacao, espresso, floral and smoky oak. Well balanced, fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, smoke and dried spice. Will age. — 18 days ago
Cherry, vanilla, and a little mocha. Extra smooth. Good texture, not quite velvety — a month ago
Enjoyed with a Cantonese beef stew, dad's recipe. Decanted 3 hours before dinner and it still held tight graphite, cedar, and black fruit notes. A touch closed up or young right now, will revisit my next bottle in 5 to 10 years — 17 days ago
Really good and smooth. Very drinkable with or without food — 24 days ago

Probably still a little young, but otherwise a really great bottle. Dark transparent ruby, with a woody-er edge to it. Some cherry pie, herbs, baking spices and tar aromas. Strong structure, making it feel young. Pretty large body for an Oregon Pinot! Going to age well for awhile. — 7 days ago

Dang this is drinking well. Subdued fruity nose and rich purple color. Great balance with spice and tons of black fruit. Tempted to say hold but not too long so one can enjoy the fruits — 12 hours ago
