Light and refreshing, versatile and delicious. At Frankie’s 457 in Brooklyn — 14 days ago
Pretty similar colour . On the nose a little more herbal and a little less intensity than the Ovello , with some sous bois and sea side hints . On the palate this is slightly more reserved and less tannic , little less rustic , a little more elegant perhaps . Touch of mint on the finish . Ok length . This is a little simpler than the Ovello overall, and will probably need drinking sooner . Drink now and over the next 5 or so years — 2 months ago
Thomas Wine Club, full bodied and ripe with dark red fruit and spicy notes and powerful, well integrated tannins in the finish. — 2 months ago

Last had this vintage a couple years ago. These obviously have a long life ahead of them. With some nice air, this does open up. Wonderful dark fruit and earth aromas. Tannins are quite present and a bit bitter (not in a bad way at all). Excellent acid on the finish. Delicious pairing with kinderhook pork chops with tutto porchetta seasoning. — 8 hours ago
