2016 vintage. Last tasted 1.14.24 (9.4). Ripped through the last two bottles. Medium/medium-heavy body. Still plenty of meaty/gamey qualities afoot but undergoing potty training and getting domesticated. Just starting to get cultured and “pretty.” 4.12.24. — a month ago
This is a well balanced red blend from the Santa Barbara region . Visit the website for the story behind the wine . Profit sharing for the workers and training the workers throughout the winemaking process keeps everyone vested in providing a quality product . This wine is purple and ruby in color with a very fruit forward taste . Lots of Cherry with very slight hints of minerals . — 2 months ago

This IS Santa Barbara County Pinot! First taste was a big burst of fruit. Not to sweet, not supple and unsophisticated, not a jammy Zin bomb, mind you. Instead, more like a zing of bright, pure, winey fruit. Remarkable and memorable. We had the 2022 vintage in a magnum bottle so perhaps that helped preserve its freshness and purity. We enjoyed this Big Mama at the Palm Restaurant in downtown LA, celebrating my daughter Rachel’s graduation from UCLA Law School. Congratulations, Rachel! — 3 days ago
